Pharmacy Practice in Canada may be very different than with what an international pharmacy graduate (IPG) is familiar. This section provides information regarding the role of a pharmacist, what working as a pharmacist in Canada may be like as well as some resources that IPGs may find beneficial as they proceed through the licensure process.

Also included in this section is information about a pilot project that we are implementing with funding from the Government of Canada’s Foreign Credential Recognition Program called “Pilot Project to Prepare for Practical Training (P4T)”. We encourage IPGs who have passed the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) Evaluating Examination, met the language proficiency requirements and are starting to prepare for a structured practical training and assessment to take a look!
